When I thought about furthering my education, I realized I only had a grade three (3) in English Language which was not enough to enter the University of the West Indies (UWI).After hearing about Mr. Morgan’s High Performance Class. I decided to “hit the ground running”. So I went in and I signed up to begin this venture. On commencing my classes and beginning to learn new words to use in my vocabulary each week, I wondered if all this was necessary until I started my story writing. My vocabulary had accelerated so much that it was able to enhance my descriptive writing which made it possible and much easier to complete my examination paper two in the given time. Resulting in a grade one (1). At our annual CXC Revision Marathon dubbed the “Last Hurrah” I was awarded the most outstanding English Language student at Morgan’s High Performance Academy 2009. High Performance did not only transform me in becoming a better English student but it also helped me holistically. Now I can proudly say I am a past student of this noble institution, a graduate of the University of The West Indies (Upper Second Class Honors) and presently serving at the May Pen Hospital as a Registered General Nurse.
